Ready to Run Pittsburgh – Campaign Training for Women

Chatham University’s Center for Women and Politics presents the annual Ready to Run Campaign Training for Women in Pittsburgh.
Ready to Run is a non-partisan political training to encourage women to run for government leadership positions. The day-long program targets women who want to run for office, seek higher office, work on a campaign, get appointed to office, or learn more about the political system. Ready to Run is your one-stop training on running for office or getting involved in public life. You will receive training and mentoring from prominent elected and appointed leaders, campaign consultants, party officials, and policy experts.

Chatham University’s Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics‘ mission is to increase women’s influence and leadership in public life in Pennsylvania and improve the quality of women’s lives by providing them with educational and training opportunities in politics and public policy.
Ready to Run Pennsylvania is part of the Ready to Run National Training Network of the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University. In addition to the Ready to Run Pittsburgh training, there is a training in Philadelphia, PA on Feb. 23 and a mini training in Erie, PA on Jan. 12.
