January 28, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

2020 Census Civic Engagement Training: Communities of Color

Join GPNP and Keystone Counts for a civic engagement training specifically for organizations that serve communities of color on January 28, 2019 from 1-3:00pm at CoLab18 in the Northside.

The 2020 Census is a GPNP public policy priority, and Keystone Counts is working with regional groups to organize nonprofits in Getting Out the Count in 2020. This training is the first of three that GPNP and Keystone Counts are hosting together in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

At this training you will:

  • Learn about Keystone Count’s statewide, regional, and county-wide strategy to Get Out the Count in 2020
  • Understand messaging research and outreach strategies specifically geared towards communities of color
  • Have the chance to network and share civic engagement strategies with other nonprofits

GPNP members and non-members alike are welcome to attend this training. Members may attend the training free. Non-members may attend for a $10 fee. Register here.

Check if your organization is a member by contacting Hannah Locop, GPNP Program Manager, at locoph@forbesfunds.org.
