Relationships, community-building, and healing are integral pieces of antiracism, particularly in Pittsburgh, a city with stark racial disparities and neighborhood divisions. Some community and faith leaders have been at the forefront of antiracist bridge-building efforts for years, while others have been moved to action by recent events. How have the Tree of Life shooting, killing of Antwon Rose Jr, and 2020 racial justice protests have reignited this work? What does Pittsburgh need to do to truly be “the most livable city” for all its residents?
