Examining Cultural Competence and Bias – YWCA – Afternoon Session

In celebration of Black History Month, YWCA Greater Pittsburgh Center for Race and Gender Equity is offering an educational workshop on cultural competence and bias. They will be hosting the workshop twice on February 28, once in the morning and again in the afternoon. This 90-minute event is free and open to the public. The workshop will address fostering respect for difference, building cultural competence, and addressing micro-aggressions. There will be light refreshments, networking, and raffle prizes included.
Morning Session: 7:30 AM-9 AM
Afternoon Session: 2 PM-3:30 PM
Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. RSVP to Carly by Monday, February 26 by emailing cchernomorets@ywcapgh.org. Please specify whether you plan to attend the morning session or afternoon session.
