Free Minds Poetry Workshop

January 20, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free Minds Poetry Workshop

Celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by joining Repair the World and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in a Free Minds Poetry Workshop.

Free Minds poetry events involve community members reading and responding to poetry from incarcerated men, directly on the poems that the young men have written. Free Minds will then mail the poems that are covered in feedback back to the individuals who wrote the poems.

Attend this interactive event and discussion on how Free Minds works to improve education for all those that are incarcerated in America today.
