The Black Political Empowerment Project and Coalition Against Violence are observing International Day of Peace and The Thelma Lovette YMCA Welcome Week with an event on Gaining Partners for Peace on Sept. 19 at The Thelma Lovette YMCA at 5:30 PM.

The event will feature a conversation on the Coalition Against Violence’s “Strategies for Change: Building More Peaceful Communities” document.
