PUMPed to Run Information Session
April 11, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
PUMPed to Run is a downtown Pittsburgh based morning running group composed of residents of local homeless shelters, and PSL volunteer mentor runners. Through the leadership of PUMP staff, Allegheny County Department of Human Services, and an Advisory Committee the PUMPed to Run program seeks to encourage sportsmanship, and a team mentality to help set physical running goals, promote confidence and encourage self sufficiency. This approach will support active community participants in building a better Pittsburgh for everyone by encouraging our members to be involved in change and connectivity. We will ensure that everyone has a place, a voice, and access to information and resources.
Want to get involved? All interested Mentor Runners are encouraged to sign up for a brief Informational Session on Monday, April 11th at 7pm at Fleet Feet Pittsburgh. Learn more and RSVP here. Donations for PUMPed to Run will be accepted at the Informational Session.
