Sideline Socials with PUMP: Diversity Discussion & Inclusion Kickball
February 16, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Sideline Socials: Where Sports & Advocacy Meet
Get to know PUMP and our strategic priority of Diversity & Inclusion better at our second Happy Hour of the year. On Thursday, February 16th at Social Bakery Square we will be hosting a night of inclusion kickball, games, and thoughtful discussion.
What you can expect:
Respond to interactive questions about PUMP and our involvement in improving Pittsburgh through Diversity & Inclusion. We will also have resources, and partners there to further encourage your experience and help you get connected.
All attendees will receive one MillerCoors beer and a Fireball tasting. The questions, although important, are optional and brief so there is still plenty of time for our normal happy hour fun!
Cornhole & Darts:
PSL darts leagues will have the courts for most of the night so you can check out what this normal league looks like. One board will become available at 8:30 and both will be available if you want to stay after our event to play. We will have our cornhole boards available for you to play throughout the night for free!
Kickball:
Want to join the conversation AND play kickball? Sign-ups are individual and we will be playing right down the street at the Kinglsey Association. Cost is $12 and you get a full indoor, refereed game and a t-shirt. The winning team will get to decide which Diversity & Inclusion organization will receive the proceeds for the night. Learn more and register here!
Transportation:
There is a garage at Bakery Square that is free for less than 3 hours. The following bus routes are accessible to the venue: 71C, 88, 74, 75, 77, 82, 86, 89. Please check the Port Authority of Allegheny County for schedules.
