Bar Sports
The PSL offers cornhole and darts for players (no gender requirements) who are over 21 during all four of our seasons. Cornhole is indoor/outdoor depending on the weather, features a best-of-3 game format, and is offered 2 v 2 (max. roster of 3). Our darts league plays 7 games a night on electric boards, and teams are 4 v 4 (max. roster of 5). Sometimes you may see us try other bar sports like Axe-Throwing, Pinball, and Shuffleboard – we love trying new games!

Basketball
The PSL offers indoor Men’s, Women’s, and Coed basketball leagues during all four of our seasons. We play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in Homestead and Dormont. Our basketball leagues run 5 v 5 and teams can roster up to 12 players.

Bowling
The PSL bowls at Arsenal Lanes in Lawrenceville during all four of our seasons. We offer leagues Sunday through Friday; depending on the day leagues generally run at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. with the exception of Friday, which bowls at 6:30. Teams are composed of four bowlers (no gender requirements) and all PSLers have access to PSL beer specials at Arsenal’s bar.

Dodgeball
Our coed dodgeball leagues play spring, summer, fall and winter, with the winter being our biggest since we play inside. Dodgeball is played with 6 players per team (2 woman minimum) and a roster maximum of 12 players.

Flag Football
PSL Flag Football is one of our most popular sports. Flag Football is coed and offered spring, summer and fall outside throughout the City of Pittsburgh. Our spring and fall Sunday morning leagues boast multiple divisions including beginner, intermediate, expert and advanced. Our spring and fall Thursday night leagues, as well as our summer league, are recreational. Flag Football is played 8 v 8 (3 woman minimum) with a roster maximum of 18 players.

Kickball
The PSL offers kickball during the spring, summer, and fall leagues on fields throughout the City of Pittsburgh! Kickball is one of our most popular sports and is played outdoors on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Our leagues are recreational and played 10 v 10 (4 woman minimum) with a roster maximum of 18 players.

Running Club
The PSL Running Clubs runs every Thursday of the year at 6:15 p.m. from a different location, which is posted to our website each week. Runners can expect maps with 3, 4 and 6 mile options and a fun atmosphere to enjoy food and a beverage with new or old friends after.

Softball
Softball is the PSL’s biggest sport and is played spring, summer and fall on fields throughout the City of Pittsburgh. The PSL plays softball outdoors on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings (summer only). Generally, unless noted, all our softball leagues are recreational. Games are played 10 v 10 (4 woman minimum) with a roster maximum of 18 players.

Tennis
PSL Tennis is the only sport we offer clinic style with individual registrations. Tennis is offered every season of the year on Wednesday nights at the Mellon Tennis Bubble (indoor). The clinic is run by Citiparks for players of all levels.

Volleyball
The PSL plays indoor volleyball during each season of the year and sand volleyball during the summer. In the spring, summer, and fall, volleyball is offered Monday through Thursday and played as 6 v 6 (2 woman minimum) with a roster maximum of 12 players. Our only summer indoor league is recreational and plays Thursday evenings, while our sand volleyball leagues play Monday through Thursday (4 v 4) and Sunday mornings (6 v 6) in Highland Park. All volleyball leagues are posted as either competitive, intermediate, or recreational.
